2013 Christmas Cards

I wanted to share our Christmas cards for 2013 with y'all. I was SO excited when I saw that Costco offered printing on heavy cardstock this year! This is also super exciting since it could be used for birth announcements, stationery, invitations... the list goes on! I decided to design my own cards that way I could incorporate our change of address onto the back of the cards.  I figured I might as well kill two birds with one stone and save on the postage. Y'all know I'm a bit cheap, thrifty!

I had dreams of taking our photos at the new house, but since it is still a muddy mess, we didn't get around to taking any family photos this year. Although, I did manage to get two successful shots of the boys one morning at the park. Shortly after this, Archer was trying to get in the fountain. There is never a dull moment with little boys around!
I wanted to add a little bit about their personalities on the back for those that don't get to see them very often. Keating's says "likes going to school", which isn't entirely true since he really only enjoys playtime and art! He says the rest of school "takes too long!" Archer, who we lovingly refer to as "Destruction," loves playing with anything that has wheels and eating Chapstick. These things don't sound as proper for a Christmas card!
Merry Christmas from the Carroll's!

  1. What a great idea with the descriptions on the back! I do a Christmas poem every year as my way of updating, but that's such a cute way to let people know how you're boys are! I am also "thrifty" when it comes to Christmas cards and used coupon after coupon at Shutterfly. We unfortunately don't have a Costco here, but good to know for the future!
