We are MOVING

We are officially moving! Our inspection came back okay and everyone has agreed to all terms of the sale. It is official! We close March 1st and then we are homeless! We will be living with my parents in the meantime (never thought I would be saying that again!), but we really have no idea where we are going to live permanently. I keep asking myself how we got in this situation. We JUST renovated our house, and love our house, so I am still a little bit in shock that we are actually doing this. Yes, we are nuts. Truth is, we have moved every year since Keating was born, and I am ready to settle down in a house that we want to stay in for years to come. So we are  being very picky about what we buy. Our agent is really frustrated with us I'm sure!I am trying to be patient knowing that God would not have had all of this happen so quickly without a master plan. We are just waiting to see what that master plan is!

No huge worries though, Lola and I have been scouting out property for sale and I comb through the new sales listings twice daily. We know that something will come up.

...and speaking of moving, Archer is doing a great deal of moving himself. This kid is in to everything. I can't turn my back for one second without him disappearing to explore something new. His newest explorations have been the dog water bowl and the toilet bowl UGH. I nearly died. and I cant believe I just admitted that on my blog.

We have had some very warm February weather in Georgia so yesterday we took full advantage with a wagon walk. Archer was a HUGE fan of the wagon and not being strapped in like the stroller. I only hope he doesn't learn to crawl over the edge any time soon.

We have also been prepping for a special 3 year old's birthday. Any guesses what the theme is? If you follow me on instagram then you probably already know... TRAINS of course! Keating is really excited for his birthday this year. Every time we mention it he gets a huge smile on his face. He is at such a funny age, I could just eat him up.

Well that pretty much sums up our crazy chaotic life right now!

  3. We sold our house last winter without knowing where we were going, so we, too, were 'homeless' with a young family. Crazy and I cried off and on, but bottom line, it was the best move, because then when a bigger and better house came along, we had no sale contingencies to worry about! We've been happily settled in our new place for 9 months now. SO worth the stress!
