Kind of a big announcement

No, I'm not pregnant! This Thursday is going to be my last day with my current company. As I have explained on my blog before, going back to work after having Archer was a really hard change. I love my job and everyone I work with dearly, but I was missing out on time with my boys. Time that I quickly became accustomed to while off on maternity leave.

Before going back to work, I prayed for an opportunity to one day work from home, and this literally fell into my lap. God opened a huge door! I have been offered an amazing opportunity with one of my client companies and I should be able to start working partially from home. I am hoping that this will be the best of both worlds. I will still be a working mom and help provide for my family, yet I will be able to spend more time with my boys.

This Friday will be my first day!

  2. Such amazing news! God truly knows the desires of our hearts and provides! So happy for you. I work part time 2-3 days a week and it is the perfect balance. Still have a foot in my career but still get to stay home with my daughter most of the time. Enjoy, you deserve it!
