Is it really already Thursday? I have been meaning to post photos of our trip to the pumpkin patch last weekend, but we still haven't managed to get our computer hooked up in the house yet. Hopefully by Monday! We are starting to feel settled in, and the house is becoming home. The exterior was finally painted this week, and I can't wait to share photos of that as well! It turned out just as I had hoped! The inside is coming along quite well too. The boxes have dwindled and we have been finding spots for those random odds and ends that don't really have a spot of their own.
This week has surprisingly flown by, it has also brought on much cooler temperatures. With cooler weather comes my desire to bundle up in sweaters, leggings and boots. I am pretty set in the boot department, but where are your favorite places to buy sweaters and leggings. I need to update my legging stash and I need extra long sweaters to get me, and my growing belly, through the winter. Any suggestions??
This weekend is going to be quite a busy one. Saturday, my high school girlfriends and I are throwing a baby shower for our friend Janae. She is due this February with a baby boy! Babies, babies, everywhere there are babies! We are also bringing our little ones (those that have kids) to play together. I am so glad that we all stayed such great friends! Should be a fun afternoon!

On Sunday, my sister and friend Michelle, and I are heading down to the Country Living fair. I will try not to blow our months grocery budget on adorable things that I really dont need. If you are in the Atlanta area, I highly recommend it. We went last year and came away with a lot of great finds. Maybe too many!
Also on the agenda is making and finishing Keating and Lola's Halloween costumes. Keating was going to be a precious puppy dog, but he wont wear the head piece... making him a dog without ears. I have come up with a Plan B, but it is going to take a lot of work! He and lola are going as a pair... I hope to successfully finish it before Halloween and that it turns out as cute as it is in my head!! Wish me luck! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!
We're going to the fair too!! It will be out first time, so I'm excited! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI just bought a thinner sweater tunic thing from Motherhood that is awesome w/ leggings. I got the black and striped gray one. It's online and I got mine in the store - $35 or so, I recommend it! It doesn't look maternity, not even side ruched.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm wearing it in my 23 week post.
Old Navy has maternity jeggings and leggings, plus lots of tunics. I just ordered myself some online a couple weeks ago since our store only has a small selection of maternity.
ReplyDeleteI loved my maternity leggings from Motherhood. I'm sad I can't wear them anymore...they were so comfy! I like Lauren Conrad's leggings at Kohl's if you don't need maternity yet!
ReplyDeleteHave you looked at The Loft online? I didn't know they had maternity clothes when I was pregnant, but wish I did! I just received an email from them that everything is 30% off and free shipping! Cute sweaters, and jeggings!
ReplyDeleteI got lots of cute tops from Limited and Express (on sale) when I was pregnant. I could go up a few sizes and not feel "frumpy". They have nice long, stretchy tops and layering pieces. Plus it sure beats paying for actual "maternity" clothes at other retail stores.
