For those that aren't Atlantans, we have a local radio morning show called The Bert Show. This year they are taking on a HUGE project that needs help from absolutely EVERYONE! Their goal is to put over 400,000 thank you letters into the hands of EVERY military person serving over seas on Thanksgiving Day. Thats right, EVERY PERSON. If you are in Atlanta, they make it super easy, and you can drop your letters off at any Taco Mac location. If you would like to participate, check their site for details on how to get your letter in.
I think we tend to forget the daily sacrifices that are troops are making for us. This is just one tiny thing that we can do for them. Just say THANK YOU! Get your family and friends to write letters, let your kids color pictures. Spread the word!
