House Updates - Trim Photos and Tile choices

I wanted to share the current status of the house. So much has been done but as my friends have been saying... "It seems like its taking forever!" Unfortunately, when dealing with most contractors, they are a bit unpredictable and run on their own schedule. Thankfully we seem to be on track now. I don't think we are going to hit our goal to be in by Christmas, but it shouldn't be long after.

A view from the living room to the front door. (I'm not sure that I have ever mentioned it on the blog, but the living room is tiny. It is going to be interesting to see how I will fit our furniture in here!) The doorway to the right leads to the master and guest room.

Blurry! SORRY! Here is the living room looking in to the kitchen.
And back towards the dining room. I am still SO GLAD we decided to take down the wall in between the dining room and kitchen!
Looking in from the mudroom.

And looking back from the kitchen.
As of today all of the doors are being hung and the tile is being laid. Interior painting will start next week and hopefully wood floors will go down towards the end of the week. Below is a photo of the floor tile I chose to use in the master bath and boys bathroom. Yes, I liked it so much I decided to use it twice. In the master it will be laid in a brick pattern, and in the boys bathroom it will be herringbone. The 3rd bathroom will have wood floors since it is right off of the main area.
Again, sorry for the blurry photo. This is the tile for the master shower. Temple gray marble in the large tiles and pewter travertine accents. I am SO excited about it, I can't wait to see it all together! The boys bathroom will have a white subway tiled shower with gray grout to match the floors.

Hopefully our tile guy gets a move on so that I can show finished photos next week!
